Emmerdale’s school boy Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe-Warren Plant) has been groomed by teacher Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) over the past couple of months.
However, last week Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) caught the pair on camera and looks set to blackmail Maya.
But in a shocking twist, it looks as though Maya could be murdered when she heads on a night out with her fellow residents.
In the teaser, Maya can be seen with blood on her head as she looks at herself in the mirror, devastated by what has happened.
Meanwhile, Jacob’s birth mother Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) can be seen slamming her fists on the mirror in anger.
Could Liv reveal all to Leyla, who will catch the teacher with her son and take revenge in a horrifying twist?
It’s certainly possible as Leyla will be far from happy to learn David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) has allowed his girlfriend to get close to Jacob.
But would she go as far as to kill Maya in a dark ending to the storyline?
Emmerdale recently changed the cover photo on their official Twitter account to an images of Leyla looking at a smashed mirror and viewers were quick to speculate it means Leyla could be involved in the storyline ending.
One fan wrote: “I hope Leyla kills Maya.”
