Dianne Buswell, 29, has been a firm fixture on the BBC series Strictly Come Dancing, since she made her debut appearance alongside her celebrity dance partner Reverend Richard Coles in 2017. The red-haired star has since been confirmed to be back on the show, which is scheduled to air later this year, but the dancer has since spoken on her longevity on the ballroom floor. In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Dianne said she has her “fingers crossed” when asked about being a part of Strictly in the future. She said: “I’d love to be in it for a long time. It's such a great show. Fingers crossed.”

It comes after her co-star Pasha Kovalev, 39, announced his departure from the BBC dance show after ten years.
Speaking about his sudden exit, Dianne said: “I’m really sad about Pasha leaving, I loved him. He’s such a gentleman.
“On my first show he really included me, as all of them did.
“Such a great guy and I'm going to miss him to be honest. Anytime you need help he's willing to help you.”
The professional dancer also spoke about the lack of “freedom” on the show as she admitted the series is focused around the celebrity and not the pros.
