Speaking to CNN Mehdi Benna, who works at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Centre, said water is spread “globally” on the Moon.
Scientists used data from the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer, which is orbiting the Moon, for the study.
