Speaking at a press conference during her trip to Africa, Ivanka confirmed her father had offered her the role which ultimately went to David Malpass. The First Daughter, however, refused to answer questions on whether her father had approached her over any other roles within the administration. When asked if her father had approached her on any other roles within the White House, the First Daughter said that she would “keep that between me and my father”.

Last week, the US President had confirmed the offer as regarded his daughter as being “very good with numbers”.
