#coronationstreet Sinead Tinker to DIE as star hints cancer could return?

Sinead Tinker (played by Katie McGlynn) has had a difficult last couple of months, what with discovering she had cervical cancer while pregnant and then learning it had spread after she stopped having treatment.

Yet, there was a light at the end of the tunnel, as she married Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), welcomed son Bertie to the world and recently completed chemotherapy.

Things looked to be on the up when she finished the cancer treatment last week and the Coronation Street resident is currently planning the christening for her newborn.

But actress Katie McGlynn has warned the new mum should not be too complacent, as there is a chance the cancer could return.

Speaking to Manchester Evening News, the 25-year-old soap star admitted she would like to see Sinead fight cancer again.

“I don't know what's next for Sinead yet. I'm contracted to stay well into this year,” she told the publication.

“Sinead is in remission and everything is going well but she's not totally out of the woods yet.”

The TV star added: “Her cancer could come back. I much prefer it this way because it's like real life.”

Is this a clue Sinead could face cancer again? And, if the cancer were to return, would she survive it?
