Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage responded to Sky News presenter Adam Boulton with a brilliant reply when asked about what he would do with Britain’s departure from the European Union. The former Ukip leader quickly replied: “That’s pretty obvious.” He added: “We need to leave. We need to honour the referendum result, we need to leave on WTO terms knowing very shortly after that we can do a sensible trade deal.”

Shortly after Nigel Farage interrupted the Sky News host when highlighting the importance of “democracy” and delivering what Brits voted for in the historic 2016 referendum.

The British MEP said: “WTO is the basis. Adam, I think you may be missing something here.

“The referendum wasn’t about how we leave, the referendum was to say that we should leave because we want to be an independent.”

As the Sky host attempted to interrupt, Mr Farage said: “I’m sorry. An independent self-governing democratic nation.”
