CBS and Netflix are making a whole host of new Star Trek shows and Discovery season three is sure to be one of them. Discovery will get a new co-showrunner in season three and more changes are being announced by CBS and Netflix.
Star Trek Discovery season three was confirmed by CBS and Netflix in February, just a few weeks after season two began airing.
The Hollywood Reporter announced that Michelle Paradise will join creator Alex Kurtzman as co-showrunner for Star Trek Discovery season three.
Kurtzman told them: “Her grasp of character and story detail, her drive and her focus have already become essential in ensuring the Trek legacy, and her fresh perspective always keeps us looking forward.
"I'm proud to say Michelle and I are officially running Star Trek: Discovery together."

The release date for Star Trek Discovery season three has not been announced yet by CBS or Netflix.
Discovery season one aired in September 2017, while season two started in January 2019.
As such, we might expect a new series of Discovery in mid-to-late 2020.
However, CBS has four new Star Trek series coming out
