Emmerdale’s Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) has been a wreck since noticing Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) has been getting close with Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb).
Determined to get one up on her potential love rival, the veterinarian agrees to go out with some of the villagers to a club in an upcoming episode of the ITV soap.
But her decision to hit the town with some of her neighbours could land her in deep trouble as she meets a handsome party-goer while out.
Hinting Rhona’s encounter with the mystery man may put her in a compromising position, Zoe explained: “Rhona gets swept along on the night out by accident.
“The girls are talking about going on a night out in the pub [and] because Debbie is there, and as Rhona is feeling jealous and vulnerable about Debbie's relationship with Pete, she brazens it out.”
In an interview with The Sun, the 45-year-old actress added: “As Rhona is not yet over her operation, she's not in the right frame of mind.
"She is out of practice, she feels too old. So all those boxes are ticked.
"However in spite of all this, she does go. And she does have a great night. She ends up hanging out with Bernice and Kerry.”
She finished: "They have an absolute scream and they meet some other people and it kind of goes on from there."
