When Natalie Watkins (Cassie Bradley) rocked up in Coronation Street she was looking to do one thing - make money off Nick Tilsey (Ben Price).
She fulfilled her objective as she managed to convince Nick to give her a job at his new shop with half-brother, David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd).
However, she appears to be getting sidetracked, as she grows dangerously close to David and could end up stealing him from his girlfriend Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding).
She is also treading on thin ice with Nick as she attempted to blackmail him into paying her off to keep quiet about them swindling Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) out of £80,000.
But it would appear a scorned lover could beat him to the punch, as actress Cassie Bradley teased a showdown between Natalie and Shona.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Cassie admitted Shona would not "be best pleased" about Natalie’s blossoming relationship with David.
When asked whether Shona could turn violent and kill her, she teased: “Yeah, but she is from Nottingham, I think she knows how to take care of herself.
"I guess death threats have been near her in the past.”
She continued: “I think she does have hidden depths. I don't know whether it’s a darkness in a malicious sense. I think she's had a hard life and I think there's a lot that she's had to fight for.
"I think that she's almost a rough diamond in that sense, streetwise she's so strong, she's resilient."
