#GameOfThronesSeason8: Bran Stark shuts down Night King theory

Game of Thrones has many threads running through it, and one of the aspects of the show which has been avoided so far is Bran Stark’s (played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) powers.

Fans will remember Bran received the powers of The Three Eyed Raven some seasons ago, and after that he showcased his new powers by sacrificing Hodor (Kristian Nairn).

And these powers have given Bran the ability to see everything from the past and the future - but this has led to a hugely damning theory for the Stark boy.

Viewers have become convinced Bran will eventually “become” the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) in the final episodes, therefore becoming the enemy the forces of the living have been fighting against for so long.

However Bran actor Isaac has recently explained how he doesn’t like that theory.

Speaking at the show’s premiere in Belfast Isaac candidly told press: “I tell you what isn’t my favourite theory: the Night King one.”

He was later pressed on the issue and eventually continued: “I think he’s the Three-Eyed Raven, who is definitely on the side of the living.”

While the Three Eyed Raven is definitely on the side of the living, he isn’t immune to magical
