#TheWalkingDead's Lauren Cohan speaks out on ‘exciting’ Maggie return

The Walking Dead has had a tough couple of seasons with many of the characters leaving and dying.

One of the biggest shocks to the system has been the exit of Maggie Rhee (played by Lauren Cohan) back in season nine.

Maggie’s exit was somehow brushed off during the exit of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) who was shipped off in a helicopter for some reason.

Since then fans have been convinced she will return to the show later on - with Maggie star Lauren speaking about her return publicly now and then.

And she’s back at it again, as Lauren recently spoke to Collider about her new Whiskey Cavalier - and Maggie Rhee’s return.

On acting in her new show compared to The Walking Dead, Lauren explained: “I miss those dramatic moments, where everything is life and death, but that’s the beauty of swimming in and out of different arenas of writing.”

Despite the changes between acting jobs, Lauren also went on to hint at her character’s return.

She continued: “Lucky for me, I haven’t actually said goodbye to any of these things.

“I feel really, really lucky ‘cause, rest assured, the Maggie story is not finished. It’s
