The Big Bang Theory is coming to an end after 12 years on CBS, and it has seen a huge number of guest stars.
One of those guest stars, Wil Wheaton, arrived on the show early on in the show - and then proceeded to become a regular arrival in various stories.
While he first began as a kind of villain for Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), he eventually became a close ally of the entire group.
But Wil has now spoken out about the show, and revealed he found it a little difficult to play the villainous version of himself.
Speaking to TV Insider Wil explained: “When we transition from that Wil Wheaton from being a villain to ally and part of the ‘friend’ group, he started to become more like who I am.”
He went on to call the entire procedure “an adjustment” - and went on to detail how difficult it was making the change.
Wil continued: “That was an adjustment. First, I had to adjust to being a villain to, basically, being myself.
“It took me about ten years, but I could finally make that separation and be comfortable about being a heightened version of myself.”
Despite the trials of becoming a fictional version of himself Wil went on to tell the publication he enjoyed the experience.
