Today saw contestants Joe and Iraj make it to the final round of Pointless after a stellar performance throughout the episode.
But before they could try to win the jackpot prize, host Alexander Armstrong decided to take the opportunity to think of some fun puns.
Referencing the pair’s success throughout the show, he joked he would write them a cheque for the prize money if they found one more pointless answer.
But as he joked around, Richard Osman had to warn him to stop taking so long as they could run over schedule.
Alexander told Joe and Iraj: “Congratulations Joe and Iraj, you’ve seen off all the competition and won our coveted Pointless trophy.”
Iraj could be heard exclaiming: “Get in!”
