Coronation Street bosses have revealed that they are about to air a story about modern slavery storyline and there have been some hints that Polish builder Jan Lozinski (played by Piotr Baumann) may be involved and is keeping a big secret. Jan is due to have an awkward encounter with a girl brought into the country through human trafficking, suggesting he may be involved. The ITV show may reveal that he is part of a human trafficking ring or has a disturbing past with this girl, Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu).
The following weeks of Corrie seem to suggest that Jan has a huge secret and may be involved in human trafficking.
Digital Spy reported that the upcoming episodes will see Alina, a young nail technician, embark on a relationship with Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
However, what Seb does not know is that Alina was brought over to Britain as part of a human trafficking plot from Eastern Europe.
The website reports that the pair will go on a date in the coming episodes of the ITV soap to Speed Daal.
