Emmerdale fans know that Victoria (played by Isabel Hodgins) will be raped when the villagers go on a big night out on the ITV soap next week.
The fan-favourite will be left struggling after the horrific ordeal - could Adam (Adam Thomas) return to support his wife after spending so long away from the village?
Hi return was certainly hinted at in tonight’s instalment as Victoria argued his mother Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) doesn’t appear to care about her son and has completely forgotten about him.
After forgetting it was Adam’s birthday, the pair got into an argument as Moira’s other son Matty (Ash Palmisciano) recovered from his surgery.
Moira began: “Adam’s birthday, I didn’t forget.”
“Yeah of course you didn’t,” Victoria retorted.
Moira continued: “Victoria, you know there is nothing more important to me than my children, all of them, whether they are here with us or not.”
“Sometimes, it feels like I’m the only one who cares about Adam,” Victoria replied.
But Moira wasn’t impressed with her remark and it back: “Of course I care. But Matty was in hospital and needed me.”
