Today’s instalment of Saturday Kitchen was hosted by Donal Skehan who cooked alongside Tim. Tim explained: “There’s something there, is the thing. It ticks a certain salty, hot box, a carb box. It’s like comfort food. “But obviously it’s not a proper good meal so we’re going to dress it up and make it as satisfying and full of texture as we can. “It’s all about the toppings, really.” Today’s programme also featured choirmaster Gareth Malone as the resident celebrity guest. It came after he asked the musician about his girlfriend, but Loyle didn’t want to reveal her name.
