Chris Evans, 53, received a call from a listener on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show, which sparked him to claim he'll "retire now" after speaking to the “best caller ever". The fan, who hailed from Spain, greeted the show host, before his female co-star Rachel Horne quizzed them on the weather. She asked: “How is Spain this morning, Monica?” Monica replied: “It’s very sunny. Like I heard it is in the UK. You are enjoying the sun there.”

The presenters seemingly appeared to be delighted with the caller’s jovial mood, as Vassos Alexander said: “You’re great Monica. We already love you.”
She replied: “I love you,” as Chris added: “I love you baby.”
The former BBC Radio 2 presenter’s co-star proceeded to question the caller, as she asked: “Monica, it says here you learnt English while watching Chris on the TV in the 90s?”
The radio listener replied: “Well it is a long story, but I’m trying to be as quick as possible. I landed in the UK in 1992.
