#CoronationStreet Gemma Winter meets Rita's long lost DAUGHTER in big twist?

Gemma Winter (played by Dolly-Rose Campbell) is currently on the caravan holiday from hell with boyfriend Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) and his son Joseph in Coronation Street.

The couple’s holiday hasn’t gone to plan so far on the ITV soap and the weather hasn’t helped as it’s been raining non-stop ever since they arrived.

After Chesney insulted her in last night's instalment, Gemma stormed off and headed to the local village to find some cheap raincoats but she bumped into someone who looked very familiar.

When she arrived at one particular shop, she did a double-take and realised that the owner looked almost identical to Rita Sullivan (Barbara Knox).

The woman was a shopkeeper just like Rita, had bouncy brown hair, similar fashion sense and her name was Anita.

“Anita, funny. The woman that runs the shop at home. She’s called Rita. and you’re the spit of her,” commented Gemma.

She continued: “It's a compliment. She’s always dead well turned out. She’s over 80 but you’d never tell.”

Anita hit back: “I’m 53!” and the pair then argued over the price of raincoats.

Viewers watching at home took to Twitter to comment on the similarities between the two shop keepers.
