Prince Harry’s advisers are currently working on a “bespoke” role for the couple. The job role could see the pair moving to Africa which would combine their work on behalf of the commonwealth along with charity work and a role promoting the UK, according to the Sunday Times. The plan has been drawn up by Sir David Manning, the former British ambassador to the US and special advisor on constitutional and international affairs to William and Harry.

The new role would give Meghan and Harry the opportunity to enjoy a break from recent divisions between the two royal couples while also allowing them to use their global appeal and popularity.

The job could also see the couple leave the UK for two to three years although “discussions are at an early stage”.
