Cersei Lannister (played by Lena Headey) was shown the horror that could befall Westeros when a wight was captured and brought to her.
But despite the absolute devastation the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) could cause, Cersei lied about sending the Lannister armies up north to help.
The Queen’s tactic is to stay put in King’s Landing to fend off anyone who comes to claim her throne once the fighting is done in the north.
However, one Game of Thrones fan has theorised the Night King may have a plan of his own that could destroy Cersei sooner rather than later.
Reddit user HerbalMancer wrote:“We all know how massive his army is and my guess is that the night king will send some of his officers and a handful of wights to Winterfell and the rest to Kings Landing.
“Remember in Brans vision you see the shadow of ONE dragon flying over kings landing? My guess is the Night King. This is why the Golden Company arrived in episode one. Two battles at the same time forcing all the houses to combine.
“Edit: They will all retreat to the Iron isles.”
It comes as the Golden Company has been recruited by Cersei and Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) to fight
