Could The Night King really be targeting Bran on #GameOfThrones?

Game of Thrones is due to see its second episode air tonight.

And as the Night King (played by Vladimir Furdik) slowly makes his way to Winterfell, the main characters have begun gearing up to defend themselves from the upcoming onslaught.

However, as fans have been worrying about the safety of such hard-hitting characters as Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) could be a key element to the finale.

And this is exactly the theory Game of Thrones fan site Watchers On The Wall’s deputy editor Luka Nieto thinks ahead of the second episode.

Luka told Metro.co.uk: “If you have watched the premiere I’m not telling you anything you don’t know, but Bran will play a large role in the war against the White Walkers and their army of the dead.”

While the Night King’s target has not been figured out just yet, Luka says Bran could be what he is looking for.

Luka went on to point out the evil undead overlord previously sought out the former Three-Eyed Ravens in the cave north of the Wall in season six.

Fans will also remember previous episodes showcased Bran having a vision of the Night King’s army, in which the Night King laid his undead hand on the boy’s arm.
