Wish these scenes could go on forever

Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced this morning that episode 19 of season three will show the last scenes that Luke Perry filmed as Fred Andrews before he passed away.
Speculation has been building as to how he will be written out of The CW show and now fans have to wait just a few more days to find out.
The show creator tweeted: “This week’s #Riverdale is the last episode Luke filmed. As always, Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between a father and his son. Wish these scenes could go on forever...”
Fans have been dreading the news because it brings a big chapter of the show to an end but also see it as an opportunity to celebrate his work.
One fan replied: “I hope they have a fitting tribute for his character planned. Please don’t recast.”
Another added: “Please tell me you guys aren’t going to recast Fred? Nobody can play Fred like Luke did!”
One fan paid tribute to the man and the character: “I just caught top and honestly every scene with Luke in it… I teared up. He was such a special human being.”
Production of the show was temporarily closed after his death in tribute to him.
He died on March 5 aged 52 and has left a huge hole in the show that producers have struggled to fill.
