Not knowing how long they had left until the Night King (played by Vladimir Furdik) arrived in Winterfell, Tryion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) sat by the fire to reminisce.
They were also joined by Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), Ser Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) and Podrick Payne (Daniel Portman), who sang Jenny’s Song.
The moment proceeded Jon Snow (Kit Harington) telling Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) that he is in fact Aegon Tararyen, the true heir to the Iron Throne.
But why was Jenny’s Song important? Well, it may have revealed who will sit on the Iron Throne if they survive the Battle of Winterfell.
Jenny’s Song is about Jenny of Oldstones who was a commoner married to Prince Duncan Targaryen, Daenerys’ great uncle.
Prince Duncan’s father was furious and told him to put an end to the marriage but he refused and gave up the Iron Throne to stay married to Jenny.
Meanwhile, Jenny was friends with a woods witch, who she had brought to court with her.
