Vanessa Feltz has spoken out after undergoing surgery and shedding three stone, in a joint interview with her husband-to-be, Ben Ofoedu. The presenter went under the knife in January to remove the gastric band she had fitted in 2010, after developing gastroesophageal reflux three years ago. At the same time, the 57-year-old had a gastric bypass, however there were complications during the surgery. She now says the weight loss “feels too good to be true” as her boyfriend, 46, recalled his concerns when she was in hospital.

Speaking to the latest issue of OK! Magazine, Vanessa addressed her shrinking side, what happened when she was in hospital as well as if the pair will ever marry after a 12-year engagement.
“I’ve lost three stone – it feels too good to be true,” she started. “I can’t tell you how good it feels to fit into a pair of skinny jeans.”
She continued: “I was supposed to be in surgery for an hour but it ended up taking five!”
Ben had been waiting at home with Vanessa’s daughter Saskia, 30, while she had the gastric bypass.
