Google Maps Street View attempts to protect the identity of any people it photographs while mapping roads by blurring their faces. Sometimes, however, even the tech giant makes mistakes - as one alarming image shows. A blunder in Liverpool was picked up by a Twitter user called Callum Rimmer who shared his hilarious discovery. He revealed on the social media platform that Google Maps had not been thorough enough with blurring one man.

The fellow in question was spotted strolling down a Liverpool road while walking his dog.
However, when the man glimpsed the Google car coming towards him he made a rather unusual decision.
He decided to pull down his trousers and display his nether regions to the camera.
A Google Maps photo shared by Rimmer shows the dog-walker with both hands up in the air and his genitalia on full view.
It would appear Google Maps completely forgot to blur out his private parts - even though they’ve hidden his face.
Rimmer captioned his Twitter post with an imaginary conversation between Google Street View staff.
