Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK was announced on Tuesday and is scheduled for June 3 to June 5, 2019. But, a royal correspondent has warned the US President will “not get the state visit that perhaps some people might expect”. BBC’s Royal Correspondent, Jonny Dymond, warned the visit could see a “significant change” to that of the Chinese President’s visit, which enjoyed a carriage down The Mall.
He said: “The word I am getting is that we will not get the state visit that perhaps some people might expect.
“And that some people, especially those who make their voices heard against President Trump, would have hoped too.
“This is particularly the carriage down The Mall which is a pretty traditional part of the state visit.
“It didn’t happen with President Obama, it did happen with the Chinese President Xi.
