’Feel a bit sick’ #TrustMe #BBC star reveals unease over THIS scene

The first episode of the BBC thriller’s second season set up a harrowing plot which will see the show gradually unpack exactly who is killing patients in a Glasgow hospital.

Alfred Enoch’s Corporal Jamie McCain was brought in after a devastating mission gone wrong and he was facing paralysis, confined to his ward bed.

Jamie met a quirky conspiracy theorist called Danny Adams (played by Elliot Cooper), but he brushed off the possibility it was true there was a killer in the ward.

When Danny died Jamie finally sat up and listened, intent on gathering the information Danny had allegedly gathered on his secret iPad.

As viewers watched the final scenes with baited breath, Dr Zoe Wade star Katie Clarkson-Hill admitted the tense atmosphere made her “feel a bit sick”.

In an interview with Express.co.uk and other media, the cast shared their thoughts, with Outlander star Richard Rankin beginning: “First time I’ve watched it and I will say the level of suspense in it…”

The star inhaled as he trailed off, before Katie admitted: “I feel a bit sick right now.”

“It’s all the elements that build up into the intrigue and everything else,” she continued.
