The third instalment of Game of Thrones season eight will see several of the biggest characters on the HBO series go into battle with the Night King (played by Vladimir Furdik) and his army of the dead.
It’s not looking good for the heroes of the show but as fans wait to see who will survive, one scene from season seven may have revealed two deaths - one which may happen during the Battle of Winterfell.
Melisandre (Carice Van Houtem) has not been seen in season eight but it is certain she will return to die.
But as she made that revelation, she also appeared to confirm another major death.
In a scene from the seventh run, Varys (Conleth Hill) warned her: “I don’t think you should return to Westeros, I’m not sure you’d be safe there.”
Melisandre replied: “I will return, dear Spider, one last time.
“I have to die in this strange country, just like you.”
Her remark left Varys looking particularly worried but she may have just revealed one of the deaths in the third episode.
