On this weeks’ Brexit The Final Countdown podcast, presenter Rebecca Hutson was joined by Express.co.uk Head of News Paul Baldwin and Video News Editor Thomas Hunt. Mr Hunt argued that Michael Gove has put himself into a better position to gain support from MPs and become Prime Minister than the “comical” Boris Johnson. He explained how following the 2016 referendum Mr Gove actively got into his role as Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs of the United Kingdom.
He did this by conducting a meeting every week inviting MPs to explain the environmental issues of their constituency and took steps to help them with their problems.
This will have resulted in loyal support from MPs that would only benefit him after Theresa May resigns as Prime Minister.
Mr Hunt began by saying: “I think Michael Gove is probably my favourite for Prime Minister.
