Stacey Dooley, 32, was in a relationship with personal trainer Sam Tucknott, 30, for three years before he recently confirmed they had parted ways. He has since claimed the journalist has developed a romance with her Strictly Come Dancing co-star Kevin Clifton, 36. In view of her 290,000 followers, the star took to Twitter to retweet a lengthy video message from British comedian Russell Brand, 43. The clip was captioned: “Do you worry about what other people think of you?”
In the video, Russell said: “Other people’s opinions of you is none of your business and therefore I shouldn’t speculate, far less care as to what other people’s are.
“But as social creatures we have a biological imperatives that exhibit psychologically to care about what other people think of us.”
The comedian then went on to discuss that human beings tend to question why other people are not particularly fond of others.
Russell said: “The way to handle other people’s opinions of you is to let go of trying to control them.
“Otherwise you will morph yourself into some horrible hybrid of what you think other people think you should be and you will lose your connection to the truth of who you are.”
