The legendary singer-songwriter who is a longterm friend to the royals, gave the biggest indication Meghan, 37, is about to go into labour. Sir Elton, 72, who performed at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding reception in May last year, said the tot “is due any second”. The British icon also revealed details about the evening reception at Frogmore House in Windsor, where he was asked to sing four of his famous songs.
The 72-year-old told The Sun: "It was fun. They were a great audience so I did them another song. I was only going to do three and I did four. I added in Can You Feel The Love Tonight as an extra.”
Meanwhile many royal fans have been sent into a frenzy amid growing speculation the much anticipated royal arrival has already been born.
One enthusiastic royalist wrote on Twitter: “I’m starting to believe the baby is already here.”
