The One Show was presented by Angellica Bell and Rylan Clark-Neal this evening and the duo welcomed ex Special Forces staff member Ant Middleton.
Ant was on the BBC show to discuss his upcoming Mind Over Matter tour and the final of Celebrity SAS: Who Deals Wins, which airs on Sunday.
When asked what inspired him to get involved with the military, Ant said: “I wanted a challenge, wanted to be self-sufficient, so I thought ‘Go and join the army’ at a young age and I just happened to be good at what I done and went up the ladder and went up to the top.
Trying to catch the ex Special Forces staff member off-guard, Angellica asked: “But what makes you vulnerable, what makes you scared?”
Before Ant had a time to answer, Rylan jumped in and said: “Don’t tell her, she’ll use it!”
Referencing a moment earlier in the show where Rylan admitted that he had a fear of crumbs, Ant joked that he too was afraid of crumbs before the trio burst out laughing.
Later on in the show SAS: Who Dares Wins contestants Victoria Pendleton and Dev Griffin discussed what it was like to be on the show.
Speaking about last weeks episode where he broke down, Dev said: “Your thoughts just playing tricks on you, you don’t know what is real and isn’t.”
