Fans around the world have been awaiting the birth of Meghan and Prince Harry’s first child. The royal baby was expected last month but is now reported to be a week overdue. Meghan had reportedly planned to give birth at Frogmore Cottage but as the wait for the baby increases, the Duchess may be forced to use an NHS hospital.
The royal couple stated on their official Instagram page that they will share any news “once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
According to the Daily Telegraph, Meghan may have to use a hospital rather than her Frogmore Cottage home if the baby doesn’t arrive soon due to the health risks associated with a late pregnancy at her age.
The Duchess could have to use the Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, 15 miles from Windsor if the baby does not arrive in the next 48 hours.
The hospital was credited by Sophie, Countess of Wessex for saving her life.
