In the banquet scene set in Winterfell, Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) could be seen at the top table.
As she looked over to Jon Snow (Kit Harington) drinking a celebrating with Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju), a Starbucks coffee cup was visible in front of her on the table around 17.40 minutes into the action.
Game of Thrones art director Hauke Richte has spoken out on the blunder, stating it has been “blown out of proportion”.
He told Variety: “Things can get forgotten on set. [The coffee cup error has been] so blown out of proportion [because] it has not happened with ‘Thrones’ so far.”

But viewers have also pointed out another unusual sight in the crowded scene.
Showrunners David Benioff and D.B.Weiss, who some viewers have criticised for missing the gaffe, were in fact acting in the gathering.
The pair had a cameo as a pair of Wildlings at the banquet and some viewers can’t believe they missed it.
“OH MY GOD, the showrunners were literally in the same scene as the Starbucks cup,” pointed out one Twitter user.
One viewer replied: “Maybe they were more focused in acting.”
