Speaking from Berlin where he is on a four-day visit to Germany, the future king said he was "delighted" at the news after Meghan delivered a healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 3oz, yesterday morning. But Prince Charles revealed he had not yet met the royal baby and will instead meet his grandson on his return to the UK from Germany.
He said: “We couldn’t be more delighted at the news and we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return," according to ITV's royal editor Chris Ship.
