The One Show host Alex Jones, 42, is expecting her second child with husband Charlie Thomson, who she married in 2015. Earlier this month, Alex took a break from her regular slot on the BBC One show to embark on maternity leave. Today, she gave her 165,000 followers an insight into what she has been getting up to during her time off, describing it as “the calm before the storm”. Alex is believed to be due in June after announcing the new of her pregnancy during an episode of The One Show in December.
At the weekend, she also hinted she is approaching her due date as Alex joked about beating Meghan Markle, 37, to labour.
