Game of Thrones fans were left shocked as footage emerged showing a stray Starbucks cup left on set in the final season of the HBO show.
The scene in question was from the celebrations after winning the Battle of Winterfell and showed the cup on the table next to a jealous-looking Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke).
Now, fans have uncovered a photo which could prove Sophie Turner’s guilt in leaving the disposable cup in the scene.
The photo shows Sophie in character as Sansa Stark next to Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey), who died in the Battle of Winterfell.
In one hand, Sophie is holding a Starbucks cup that is exactly the same as the one spotted by fans in the scene.
Fans are jokingly speculating the star might have left it there to undermine rival Daenerys.
One fan said on Reddit: “That feeling when you purposely leave your coffee cup in front of Dany knowing she’ll get all the blame.”
Another added: “Starbucks cup mystery solved. Sansa is petty, the north remembers.”
A third fan on Twitter believes she timed it perfectly: “Hmmm guess who gets up from the table and leaves right before the coffee cup appears? Sansa was playing the long game with this one.”
