Missandei's #GameOfThrones death scene blunder revealed - did you spot it?

GAME OF THRONES season eight is almost at an end and a fair few characters have been killed off during the Battle of Winterfell and Daenerys Targaryen’s mission to rule Westeros. The latest death was that of Missandei, which left the Mother of Dragons devastated. But as Missandei was killed by Cersei Lannister, fans spotted a huge blunder.

Game of Thrones fans were no doubt horrified to see Missandei (played by Nathalie Emmanuel) killed in front of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson).

She had been captured when Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbaek) attacked Daenerys’ fleet on its way to Dragonstone.

And, Cersei (Lena Headey) was keen to use Missandei to flaunt her power and hurt the Mother of Dragons.

However, as Missandei was killed, fans were quick to point out a huge blunder regarding the death scene.

Missandei’s head was cut off as she stood on top of a platform on the walls outside the castle with Cersei standing next to her.

Daenerys, Grey Worm and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) could be seen looking up at the women as they tried to come to an agreement.

And while the confrontation certainly had many fans gripped, some just could not get past the fact the castle appeared to be surrounded by desert.

Die-hard fans of the show will know King’s Landing is surrounded by water on three sides and hills on the other leaving some confused by the new landscape.
