Michel Barnie’s deputy Brexit negotiator Sabine Weyand was recorded mocking the UK and its difficulties surrounding Brexit in behind scenes footage in new BBC documentary Brexit: Behind Closed Doors. Ms Weyand was joined by other EU officials including Guy Verhofstadt as the group discussed the complications surrounding European citizens residing in Britain and their fate after Brexit. The group members also discussed the portion of children who will be born to EU nationals who will lose the right to reside in the UK following Brexit before Ms Sabine makes another dig.
