The death left Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) with just one remaining dragon Drogon and seemingly weakening her chances of defeating Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) in the HBO show finale.
However, a clue in season four has got fans thinking Daenerys is actually grandmother of the dragons, with Drogon having baby dragons.
One fan opened up a theory about what happened in season four: “I believe that Drogon disappeared in season four to protect his baby dragons until they were swole and next week we’re going to see an army of angsty teen dragons f**k up King’s Landing.”

The trailer for season eight, episode five has teased a potential shock with Euron looking up into the sky and his face visibility changing as he sees something terrifying.
It has been suggested Rhaegal could be about to return, but maybe it is a family of dragons consisting of Drogon and her babies coming to attack the enemy.
Fans have been looking for clues to prove the theory and give them the dragon fantasy they are craving.
