Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son, however, is in fact not the first royal of mixed descent despite earlier beliefs. Baby Archie became the seventh in line to the throne when he was born this week but he is in fact the second royal of mixed race behind the children of Lady Davina Windsor and Gary Lewis. Davina is the daughter of the Her Majesty’s first cousin Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester.
