Kathy (played by Gillian Taylforth) and Ben (Max Bowden) haven’t had the most conventional mother-son relationship on the BBC soap, mainly down to the fact that she faked her own death and Ben thought she was dead for years.
They’ve managed to repair their bond but it could all change again for the EastEnders characters.
It unfolds in an upcoming storyline as Kathy books in at the new salon on the Square, Fox & Hair.
While she makes her appointment with skilled hairdresser Chantelle (Jessica Plummer), Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) has to take over at the last minute.
As the pair chit-chat in the salon, attention is drawn to Kathy’s necklace that was given to her by Ben.
They insist to her that the jewels look authentic and that it could be a very pricey item that she’s been wearing.
Is Kathy about to get a huge shock when she finds out the truth?
As viewers will know, the necklace was taken from the loot stolen in Aidan Maguire’s (Patrick Bergin) heist last year.
