Jamie Tate to uncover DARK family secret as he digs into Kim's past on ...

Jamie (played by Alexander Lincoln) arrived back on Emmerdale with a bang as he was caught in an altercation with Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) after his car knocked down the pensioner when Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) crashed into his vehicle.

On his return, Jamie was frosty with mother Kim (Claire King) after her desperate search for her estranged son saw the veterinary graduate arrive on the ITV soap to set up home in the village he lived before his exit in 1999.

At the time of his original departure, there was uncertainty about who Jamie’s real father was as after failing pregnant with her son, Kim tried to forge a dodgy deal with her husband at the time, Frank Tate (Norman Bowler) as well as sleeping with Dave Glover (Ian Kelsey).

Paddy replied: “Your Auntie Zoe was a very dear friend of mine,” but the moment led to some confusion amongst long-standing fans of the ITV soap as they stated on social media Zoe was Jamie’s half-sister.

As Jamie was only three years old when he originally left the village with Kim, his mother may have fed him the lies Frank didn’t have any other children in the hope if they ever made their comeback to the village and her
