The Brexit Party are topping the polls for the upcoming European elections and have vowed to stand in all 650 seats in a future general election. On BBC’s Question Time an audience member asked the panel whether the Prime Minister and Labour Party leader should be concerned about the rise of Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party. But, before any members of the BBC panel could answer, several members of the Question Time audience interrupted by shouting out “yes”.
Even Brexit Party leader Mr Farage was overheard saying “ah, well.”
BBC host Fiona Bruce said: “Lots of you are shouting yes, and a lot of you are not shouting anything.
“I’m not sure what to make of that.”
Mr Farage said: “As leader of the Brexit party, I want Mrs May to stay in office for as long as possible because she’s doing a great job in recruiting for us.
