Ben, 44, was standing in for Piers Morgan, 53, on Good Morning Britain today, with Kate Garraway, 52, keeping the seat warm for Susanna Reid, 48.
At the beginning of this morning’s show, Ben and Kate were eagerly anticipating an upcoming interview with star of the hugely anticipated live action remake of Aladdin.
Joined by showbiz reporter Richard Arnold, 49, and news reporter Sean Fletcher, 45, the presenters discussed the addition of a giant lamp in the studio.
To show viewers the exact size of the lamp, Ben introduced one of the ITV show's crew members to compare the magnitude of the prop with their height.
