Meghan's half-brother Thomas junior has also attacked his sister

She has been accused of cutting off her family other than her mother Doria Ragland, 62, since she became romantically involved with Prince Harry in 2016.

Neither her sister Samantha, 55, Thomas junior, 53, nor her nieces or nephews received invitations to her wedding to Harry in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May last year.

The former Suits star's father, who lives in Rosarito, Mexico, withdrew from the nuptials after a health scare, and has not spoken to Meghan for a year.

However, her half-brother, Thomas, who is a window fitter from Oregon in the US, is confident that his sister will rediscover an interest in bonding with her family now that Archie, who was born on May 6, is in the world.

He insisted the reconciliation would not be made public, and the Markle clan - no strangers to publicity - would keep silent.

"Meghan is going to become a different person as a mother and her family element is going to set in and she is going to become a different woman," he said.

"She is going to want more family. She is going to want to heal these rifts and I think she will reach out.

"I would like that and my father definitely would like that. He is hurt. He wants his grandchild in his life and he wants Meghan back. Their tight bond growing up was inseparable.

"Maybe Meghan has been busy all this whole time starting her life, setting up her life as an independent Markle, which is totally understandable, but I think now is the time."

Thomas junior said he knows that Meghan would only want a reunion to take place away from cameras in secret.

"I think it is important that if there is a family reunion and everybody gets back together, I really don't think it is anybody's real business but ours," he said.
