The CBS show does finish on Thursday but will feature two separate 30-minute long episodes in a one hour goodbye to The Big Bang Theory.
Fans were confused after the release of the final two episodes’ titles and thought they had got the date of the show’s finale wrong.
However, Kaley took to Instagram to post a direct video to the fans explaining what is happening.
She said: “Okay, little Big Bang announcement. This is proof that I do read the comments on my Instagram. People are freaking out because they thought there were two episodes left of Big Bang and on the last episode is said that next week is the final.
So you have hours of Big Bang next Thursday all in a row

“It’s back to back episodes. It’s technically two episodes, it’s a ‘to be continued’, so it’s two back to back episodes, an hour-long finale. That’s what they mean. Technically it’s in one night, but it’s two episodes so don’t panic.”
Fans will be happy to know they have double the usual billing on a Thursday night, but sad they will not get another week before the emotional ending.
On Thursday, Kaley teased there could be hours of The Big Bang Theory in various forms.
She added: “Reminder, I think ET is doing a big special on the show right before and then you have the hour Big Bang and then Johnny [Galecki] and I host a special I believe after Young Sheldon.
“Young Sheldon also has, I think, a beautiful homage to The Big Bang Theory cast, which I’m really excited to see.
