The Chase favourite, 60, said she hadn’t received an invite for the BAFTAs 2019, admitting she was “envious” of those who got to attend the star-studded bash in London last night. After former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Scarlett Moffatt, 29, tweeted her excitement to be heading to the bash, Anne Hegerty responded in view of her 123,000 Twitter followers. “Wish I got to go! #envious,” she tweeted. The quizzer’s brother Jon Hegerty soon replied, shocked she wasn’t on the guest list.
“No! I’m a Celeb is nominated isn’t it? … You should be there!” he insisted.
“Hey, if they don’t want to send me an invite, I’m not begging!” Anne told him.
“Anyway, I have an early start tomorrow,” she added.
Keen to hear what The Chase star had planned after her BAFTAs disappointment, a fan chipped in: “Oohh, what’s tomorrow?”
“Not telly, don’t get too excited!” she replied.
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for BAFTA asking for comment.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! wound up winning the BAFTA for best Reality and Constructed Factual Show at the ceremony at Royal Festival Hall.
