Fans of the Big Bang Theory have been waiting a long time for baby news from Amy (played by Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and fans believe it could finally happen.
The CBS show posted a teaser for the final two episodes - both airing on Thursday - and it suggests Amy receives some news after a phone call.
The tease says: “‘Hello? Yes, this is Dr. Fowler. I see. Ok, thank you.’ One phone call, so many possibilities. Don’t miss the two-part finale of The Big Bang Theory.”
Fans were sent into meltdown as they speculated what the phone call means and came to one theory.
One fan said: “Could Amy be pregnant? Will there be little shamies running around??? Wish it wasn't the series finale.”
Another added: “A Nobel and a shamy baby. Please.”
A third fan pointed out a clue from the spinoff Young Sheldon, which suggests Sheldon has two children: “Young Sheldon said he has two kids. Can Amy be pregnant at last? I don’t want to say goodbye.”
Another fan went even further: “It will be a baby.. then a flash forward in the second episode where the ‘Young Sheldon’ actor will be their son.”
The synopsis for the final episodes - The Constant Change and The Stockholm Syndrome - also teases big changes for the cast.
