Lady Gabriella Marina Alexandra Ophelia Windsor, also known as ‘Ella’ will marry financier boyfriend Thomas Kingston in a ceremony this Saturday, May 18. Tom and Gabriella met through mutual friends in 2015 and decided to tie the knot last August, with Thomas proposing to his bride-to-be in the Isle of Sark. Lady Gabriella is the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, who live in Kensington Palace.
The birth of baby Archie Mountbatten means she is 52nd in line to the throne and is the Queen’s first cousin once removed.
When the engagement was announced, the palace released an official statement which read: “The wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor and Mr Thomas Kingston will take place at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on Saturday 18th May 2019.”
Gabriella is a freelance writer and senior director for Branding Latin America, while fiancee Tom is an economics history graduate working in finance.
Kingston began his career working for the UK’s Foreign Office and spent almost four years working for the Iraqi Institute of Peace in Baghdad.
